Sponsorship Opportunities
The Native Village of Paimiut in invites you to sponsor the inaugural Children of the Sky Summit, the first-ever Indigenous-led, global migratory bird conference. Children of the Sky Summit will convene at the Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska, from June 24-26, 2025.
This groundbreaking event will bring together 200 attendees including traditional Indigenous and Western scientists; Indigenous knowledge-keepers; conservationists; philanthropic organizations; and bird tourism entrepreneurs. This diverse bunch will represent Tribes, programs and global organizations centered around our bird relatives in Alaska, Hawaii, other Tribes within the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Asia, etc.
Migratory birds are not only environmental connectors but also cultural messengers. Indigenous communities share ancestral stories tied to the same birds that traverse thousands of miles, connecting distant lands, cultures, and Peoples. This summit will honor those connections-combining Indigenous ecological wisdom with contemporary science to inspire innovative conservation practices and sustainable economic opportunities.
As a sponsor, your organization will be recognized as a visionary leader in fostering cross-cultural dialogue and environmental action. Benefits include prominent branding opportunities, networking with thought leaders, and association with an event poised to set a global standard for inclusive conservation. Join us in celebrating our bird relatives that bind us, as we work together to protect the skies for future generations. Together, we can create lasting impact across continents.
